Looking for ideas of something to give the wine enthusiast in your life? Look no further. This year, I’ve compiled a list of thoughtful gifts the wine lover in your life would be ecstatic to receive that aren’t more bottles of wine. Although, no one has ever been disappointed to receive a bottle of wine, so check out this guide for advice on how to pick out the perfect bottle.
Wine Glasses
I live by the philosophy that one can never have too many wine glasses. It’s the same philosophy I use for underwear. I like to have varietal specific glasses for all of the wines I enjoy on a regular basis. I also like to have cute wine glasses to put fun cocktails in and of course, extra glasses because my parents seem to break them all of the time. Colorful glasses are super trendy and they are so fun for brunches and dinner parties. Plus, there’s no confusion as to whose glass is whose. If colorful glasses aren’t your wine enthusiast’s favorite thing, I highly recommend the Zwiesel Glas Burgundy Wine Glasses. They are sleek, elegant, and incredible for Pinot Noir.
Wine Charms
On the topic of wine glasses, a good way to track whose is whose is by using wine charms! Wine charms come in all sorts of different styles and vibes. There are funny ones like these chameleons or you can get something more elegant like these agate charms. Either way, there will be no more confusion and you can make sure no one is depleting the wine out of your glass! If you celebrate Christmas, wine charms make the perfect stocking stuffer.
Coravin
I suggest the Coravin every year because it has saved my wine stash! I’m only one person, I can’t drink a whole bottle in one night. Sometimes I open a bottle and don’t want another glass until a week later, but by then, the wine is not good to drink. This is where the Coravin comes in. It pierces a hole in the cork and injects argon into the bottle to keep the wine fresh. It’s great because you can have a glass of wine without opening the entire bottle. Plus, it’s perfect for wine enthusiasts that live alone or have a partner that doesn’t drink wine.
Wine Rack
I guarantee you that the wine lover in your life has enough wine to fill a few racks and probably needs a bigger rack to hold all of their wine. If they’re anything like me, I’ve got wine racks on top of my wine racks. There are so many to choose from, so figure out how much wine they have and make a decision based off of that. This rack holds 75 bottles and it looks really sleek and elegant. Then you could always get a wine rack with a surface to put things like candles and picture frames on top of. I have one like this and sitting on top of it is… another wine rack LOL. Finally, there is always the option to get something smaller for their kitchen counter like the one pictured above.
Bar Cart
Maybe the wine lover in your life only has space for a few bottles and wants to display them in their home in a stylish way. A bar cart is a good option for that. Bar carts can hold wine, wine glasses, home decor, and so much more. I’m in love with this gold one from Amazon, but there are so many beautiful options to choose from. Also, this one gives such incredible Great Gatsby vibes. Would it be tacky to have a bar cart in every room of my house?!
Wine Apparel
Sometimes all someone needs is a cozy pair of slippers or a soft t-shirt and what better than some with wine?! There is so much wine apparel out there that you could scroll for days. Want some earrings? You can get earrings shaped like wine glasses. Clearly, the only limit is your imagination.
