Wow! I can’t believe it’s been two years since I started this blog! My goal was to make wine more approachable for beginners because wine can be really intimidating sometimes. Hopefully within these past two years, I taught you something about wine whether it was how to taste wine, buy wine at the store, or even taught you that it is okay to drink Moscato with Hot Cheetos if that’s something you prefer.
Because of this blog, I got a job in the wine industry and found out that marketing wasn’t for me. The passion I have for wine lead me to taking my WSET Level 2 (and passing with distinction), and now I’m taking classes to become a winemaker! Recently, I applied for a prestigious winemaking program in Bordeaux, France which I have an interview for on April 15th. Stay tuned for a post on Instagram to find out if I get in. I haven’t even done the interview and the suspense is already killing me!
As I start to plan content for year three and get back into writing about what I love, please let me know what kind of blog posts you want to see from me. A lot of my inspiration comes from conversations I have with other people about wine.
